I love the way it looks now, don't get me wrong. However, it does rub some, mostly on the radius arms but I plan to temporarily run wheel spacers to fix that until I can get better offset wheels and then I'm afraid I'll rub the front bumper. I don't want much more lift, just more clearance and no rubbing which will probably get worse if I put new less worn tires on.

This is the look I'd like to achieve.

Nick's truck does look awesome. Hard to believe it is a 2WD as well. He is running a 6" lift however, not a 4". My truck has a 4" suspension lift and 33" Duratracs. Doesn't sit quiet as high as Nick's, and I do have some radius arm rub at full lock.

His is a 4" with coil spacers. I could buy the 4" kit and keep my spacers in. Either way it will actually clear.

So a 2" body lift just popped up on my local Craigslist page. I had pretty well written off the idea of doing that, but at $50, I thought about doing it. Opinions?

I know you feel like jumping in to doing certain mods that are cheap and easy. I actually did the same sort of things to my truck back around 2000-2004. In 2005 I actually removed and undid 90% of that stuff and sold most of the parts. Most of the time these modifications make the truck handle and perform worse. What I'm concerned with these days is doing things that help the truck or that need to be done to it.

I wouldn't run wheels spacers on anything not even a lawn mower. What rubs currently? If its just the radius arm at full turn, just leave it be. This is not really a big deal and is not a safety issue. Also, it happens at slow speed and wont hurt the tires either. Spacers will also cause more wear on your wheel bearings and front suspension. As for the CL body lift, save your $50.
