Yup. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to do this kind of stuff, so it's all or nothing.

Just my luck I had all fluids changed and hooked up camper and took for a test spin and when I pulled over and shut down to look over everything truck would not start!!! Temps only hit 212 eot 218 Ect ?? Turns over but no fire I used a small amount of starter fluid I know to be careful and it cranked a little and then the ol put put put vroom to life?? Got me scared was supposed to leave for vaca tommorow I'm sick to my stomach. Had left side dummy plug and standpipe done earlier this year . Grrr

Make sure you are running a MotorCraft oil filter and cap. If that is what the truck has on it, than I am afraid the STC fitting, Stand Pipes, and Dummy Plug's need to be replaced.

Go to dealership buy a Motor craft filter and oil filter cap. Youtube filters for the 6.0/6.4, you will understand why it matter's.
But hot start usually point's to HPO leak.
I would still replace filter and cap first.

I was really hoping that a simple filter/cap would have "fixed" it. Sorry to hear Joe.
