Pretty much George. Im counting down until it starts. The sun is back out here. Did have a thunderstorm come through about 1600 hrs.

Howdy Spur. How was your day?

 

Not bad, no rain all day. Got out of work at two and got the lawn mowed! There are a lot of muddy tracks out there, some parts I didn't dare drive on.

 

it rained this morning and then rained this afternoon. Looks like there is more heading this way.

 

It's suppose to start up again here. My weekend to work and I am on call for the next two days as well. Hopefully every thing keeps on running smoothly!

 

Im not sure when this wet pattern will move on. It is getting old.

 

HOLY MOTHER.... talk about some nasty storms that rolled through here around 6 tonight. Ended up getting about 2" of rain in a 30-45 minute time frame. Lots of localized flash flooding, heck I even had water over flowing the ditch above my driveway along the road and had about 2" of water running down the road. Washed more of the end of my driveway out so it will be something for the town highway department to clean up and repair.

My fire department did go out for a tree down blocking the entire road, and neighboring departments were out on tree and wires down calls, flooded basements and one even had a basement collapse.

Sounds like a nasty one Neil. We lucked out on the one that came through earlier this evening. Went through as a normal storm. I will be happy when this pattern of rain is out of here.

 

It was a nasty one, I do not think that we have had one like this in several years. I too hope that this weather pattern changes sooner than later.

 

Yeah it is making it suck to be outside right now.

 

That storm missed us Neil. Was able to get most of the lawn mowed.
