to bad the f150 is 2wd and has a 302 instead of 351m/400 but like i said its a 5 speed and being 2wd with the 302 should get "decent" mileage its needs a few piddley small things like a temp sending unit that just went out a decent radio and speakers and it has a crack in the passenger side manifold but it runs and drives pretty decent

the crack is down by where the manifold bolts to the exhaust so supposedly it should hurt the valves i'm gonna run by crumps on friday where the father in law works since he thinks he can get it welded up with it still on the truck...worth a shot for free may run out to pick and pull and see if i can find a good one if that won't work guess thurs-sun they are doing a 25-50% off sale on everything

sucks i had a manual for this year f150 (i had a 87 for while) but now i can't find the damn thing anywhere

the idea of pulling the front and rear end out of the bronco and slapping them under the truck has crossed my mind also then i would just need a different trans to hook the tcase to..................

Boy that would be a bad idea.....IMO rock the 2wd 302 and enjoy the mileage between gas stations.

i dunno....its feasable from what i read the front end will drop right into the f150 i imagine the rear will to (f150 rear not 9") and i could use my lift springs wheels and tires then its just trans and drive shafts and a hole in the floor and i think its done. more or less....just a thought

Leave it 2WD and enjoy the fuel economy and minimal maintenance. As soon as you go changing things like that, the reliability and pleasure of the vehicle is gone. Let the Bronco be the 4 wheel drive.

sounds like some good advice there brian...... leave the 2wd the way it is and use it or sell it for the cash ya need to get the bronco going... i am not sure if all the manifolds are the same but i have several laying around here you can have..
