Well back to FTE, grandson's team were winning their games and then lost the finial game to go to state on Sunday.

Penny's Bday at Down Stream casino went well, we both were winners on the slots.

The guy from Illinois bought a bunch of parts and is back on the road, and we got a "Crave Case" (30 pack of While Castle burgers).

I am going to the doc to get some finger tip surgery tomorrow, that big metal splinter left a piece behind and it is all jacked up now.

Alan how is your dad?

Dang Rich, good luck on the doc visit. At least you both won on the slots and had a good time.

Not gonna swear to it, but my memory (which likes to lie to me - A LOT) says they're the same. I'd ask Alan or someone to be sure. I know you do HAVE TO change computers, 351 has a different firing order.

Rich. When did you plan on getting ole' red here, anyway?

As far as my dad goes, how's this for a gear head moment? My mom said he wanted to talk to me. She gave me the number to the HOSPITAL, WHERE HE WAS STILL LAYING IN A BED. I didn't know what he wanted to tell me, but I prepared myself for the worst. I called him and he just wanted to ask me a question. "How hard would it be to put a four speed in the C-cab?"

My reaction was something like this......

Yeah, ...six strokes and you're STILL in the hospital from a massive heart attack and you want me to put a manual trans in your hotrod? ...How about, ...NO.

.. it aint a hot rod unless there are 3 pedals..ha ha ha ha ha just joking ....on the 302 to 351 question.. the flywheels are different on a 351 and 302 (different weight).. but bolt pattern on bell housing is the same.. the exhaust will be a little different too because the 351 is slightly wider..intakes are different, heads will interchange.. as with most engine sheetmetal. engine brackets will vary some work some dont.. distributors will swap out, not sure about computer components because they didnt use em in 1970..

Alan that all depends on your current new job and your garage project schedule.......

Say when you are ready....and I'd still like to lend a hand with it.
