My thoughts are, since you admittedly are not building a drag truck, you save yourself a lot of time and money and work and stick with the FE engine and not swap to the 460. All the stuff you've bought and set up on your truck now would be wasted. None of it will interchange. The bellhousing and trans is different too. Everything needed to install a 460 in your truck would be custom made to fit.

A 390 or 428 crank will drop in your block, and stroker parts are available too if you really need more cubes. FE's have tons of torque and can get better mileage than the 460.

Not that we don't appreciate lots of newer trucks, but you'll pick up more tips from people with similar trucks.
