need stock pics of fuel line

I plan on running a new hard fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump on my 54. I know there is a flexible fuel line going to the fuel pump but how close does the hard line run... or how short is the flexible line.

Any pics or diagrams would be appreciated.

Abe I posted some pictures in my gallery, I just replaced my flex lines last year thought they were leaking but threaded reducer fittings were leaking they only needed sealant.I think your tank is under cab, mine is inside. I have three steel lines and two flex lines.

Yea that does make a difference doesn't it!

Mid Fifty shows the 54 8 Cyl flex hose as 15" where the 6 cyl is 9"

Well, I kind of like the picture of the straight 6, nice looking engine.
Here is a picture of my engine. Unfortunately I had already removed the hard line. I couldn't seem to find a picture of it together. But I think it just came up the frame rail and made a right angle to attach to the flex line.

The pics are in the sidebar to the right not at the bottom with the other albums, don't know why they are over there. The line runs in between the rail until it turns up and ends up on top of frame rail at steering box it is covered in black clothlike anti chaff material and continues along top under the cab to the rear.I think its 5/16 tubing.
