You're not understanding the fuel pump issue. The lift pump in the fuel tank can easily be upgraded, just as you mentioned. The High Pressure Pump driven off the driver side camshaft is not so easy.
Yeah I'm understanding it now, just edited out my response. Didn't realize exactly how demanding they were fuel wise
I don't mean to downplay the Ecoboost. It's an awesome little engine and I like mine very much. A little tune, downpipes, and intercooler.... my huge 6300 pound SuperCrew puts plenty of butt pucker on those Mustang and Camaro owners.
