It should be fast the way its equipped, it has to weigh at least 900 to a 1000 pounds less then a super cab and with two wheel drive should be fairly entertaining, also it comes with a nice interior, this is no stripper with a sheet metal interior, and the graphics are not that loud, if I didn't have to tow and weren't married, I would have one of these bad boys!

My old company that I worked for had a red 2003 SVT Lightning as a "shop truck" owner of the shop was into muscle and exotic cars and had bought the truck new for his then 16 year old daughter, but she refuse to drive it lol.
I have countless seat time and hooning time in that truck for lack of better terms. Yes it was a riot, but I will be damned if my 2011 F-150 5.0L 2wd with 3.55 & limited slip isn't as fast or almost. It's almost the same feeling when you drop the hammer, similar sound too less the blower noises.
I wouldn't be surprised if the reg cab, 3.5L EcoBoost with 4.10 in 2wd form isn't "faster" than a stock 2003 lightning. The only difference is the EcoBoost is whisper quiet while its passing you lol. You could always lower this truck and add stiffer shocks/ springs and anti roll bars if you want Lightning like handling.
In more ways than one this truck is better than the Lightning as its more sleeper like and probably has the highest tow/ payload rating out of the F-150 range due to the lighter weight of the reg cab, short bed config.
On top of that you probably get 20+ mpg hwy from this little truck. That 2003 Lightning never got better than about 11 or 12 ever, grant it we always had our foot in it everywhere.

I gotta say, I think this thing is marketed right at me! I drive a 2010 Lariat Supercrew and have been lusting for a Raptor for a couple years now. My lariat is nice, but the 5.4 just isn't doing it for me. I have driven an ecoboost and they are seriously fun engines! My problem with the Raptor is that it's becoming too much of a bro truck, and I really won't use it to it's full potential very often. I really just want a fun, fast truck. I was also considering getting a commuter car because I am sick of commuting in the supercrew (although it is damn comfy!!).
Enter the Tremor. Ecoboost, check. Short wheelbase, check. 4x4, check. short gears? check. Will have lots of fun aftermarket stuff? Most definitely! Looks great too!
If the Tremor is priced right, then I'll trade in my lariat for one, and just pick up a commuter car for DD, keeping the Tremor as a toy!
Now if only it came with a floor mounted manual

Yeah, I'm thinking 36k is a reasonable cutoff for me. Can't imagine paying more than that. A 2011 6.2 would def. be the way to go if the Tremor is more than 36!
