GTG banner idea.
Hello all,
I am thinking of having a banner made for our chapter's get togethers. One of the other chapter members found a site where I can get a 3x6 foot sign made for only $24. I was thinking I could give them the chapter decal design and have them make a vinyl banner with it, or use the FTE logo for a banner. The only thing about that is it does not have Nor cal Chapter on it. So what do you guys think? Go with the one we have or use FTE's? Here are the two examples. Our design first.

Yes, I designed it in Corel Draw 9. So far it has all the votes. Once I get back up to Fresno and get settled in to my new place (read hook up desktop computer) I'll send a copy of that to this place on the web and have it made into a banner. I am thinking since it is taller than it is wide it will be 6x3' instead of 3x6'. Should still be easily viewed from quite a distance. Then I'll go to Home Depot and get some pvc pipe to use as legs, and some bungee cords to hold it and we will have our own GTG banner!

Will do Andy, however, I will find out what the cost is sometime after I get settled, just moved in, and everything is a mess at the moment. LOL I would imagine some time next week after the holidays and I get my computer hooked up I'' be able to send them the file and they can make one, I'll have them make two and we can split the cost.

Interesting that you would respond now, as I just ordered two of them, they will arrive at my place on 7-23, which is the Monday after our State Fair GTG. I did not want to spend the extra $$$ for a rush job because I doubt I would have used it at the fair anyway. Total is $72.52, so your half would be $36. Not going to worry about the cents.
