while it is a crack in the bellhousing it looks like its been there before I even had the truck and hasen't opened up under load so I think it will be fine just until I get the spare bellhousing. the front lift is getting worked on/fabbed up. the front hangers will be extended and a 4x4x 1/4" beam will serve as a crossmember/brace

ok I really need your ideas/thoughts right now..
the front lift is kind of one of my weak spots... I need to drop the front hangers down 4" for that I decided on a 4x4x 1/4" square beam welded to the frame as a crossmember and the stock hanger bracket would be extended 4" along with the bolt holes re drilled for bolting onto the frame. the Driveshaft for 4wd binds if you turn it by hand... is it possible to leave the stock hangers that are on the back of the frame just behind the cab mounts the same as they are to tilt the front diff down a bit to try and help the driveshaft slip/angle?
