Just wait until you get injectors.. Your really going to love it then.
Is it too soon to hit a new guy with that line??? LOL
In all seriousness, stick around and welcome. Any questions you have regarding your new truck, ask it. Whether you want to know how the injection system works or what and where all the sensors are or even how to build a 500hp tow friendly engine. We got you.

Well first question, after reading the thread and getting the crap scared out of me, is how do I maintain my cooling system other than the usual flushes? The coolant in there now looks green and clean, but after reading the sticky and the major damage that can happen, I am like...whaaat??!!
Right now I am just trying to read about all of the ins and outs as far as longevity and keep it going for another 200k miles with little or no trouble. THEN we can get to 500 "tow friendly" HP....mwwahahahahahahahaha!!

SCA test strips are your friend. A coolant filter is also a very good idea. There are add on kits that can be used to add a filter to your system or you can replace the water pump with one from International that has a filter head built into it. You think you're scared now, wait until you see what is inside that first filter you change!

Oh, Lord....Here we go!!
Mr Hewitt there knows enough to be dangerous. VERY dangerous. And that's about all. A lot of the junk he spews is marketing hype and much of the rest is misinformation. Ever see his video on the "top end oil change"? Complete BS. Be very careful taking that man's advice. He talks a good game and comes across with a lot of confidence, but a lot of what he says is just BS.
Sorry to jump all over you, but we have been down this road so many times we should make a "Don't listen to Powerstrokehelp.com" sticky, lol.
