Yes, there is one underneath the steering wheel (have to remove the steering wheel to see it) and there is another brush, just underneath the chrome horn button. That one actually makes or breaks the circuit. The brush underneath the steering wheel maintains contact along a circular rotor piece, because the wheel has to turn after all.
I think they might be actually different part #s, can't remember what the deal is, seems to me Mac's and everybody sells them and the same one works fine for both spots. You can probably make one from the ball point pen spring and the little metal cap from a Skilcraft. Seems to me also I ordered one and instead of dropping it in an envelope for 57c they put it in a Big *** Box and charged $12 shipping.
Try C20Z-13821 1964 1/2 Blowing Ring Contact Assembly , I don't believe that is a Ford part #, maybe, but as I understand it aftermarket suppliers can only use Ford part #s if they are NOS parts. If it's a repro, they gotta make something up.
