7/16 level with a 15/16 drop according to the manual page 14

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 1403 and the sheet says 15/16" too. Interestingly enough, it seems to have come from the factory with a drop of almost 2 inches, which is so large that the floats would just ride the bottom of the bowl until the needle cuts off. I'm just going to set mine to what the sheet says - 15/16". I have a tuning booklet that came with the carburetor and it says 15/16" as well.
