While not an expert, It sure looks like it is original. If not, who cares, it sure is a nice looking truck!

Step bumper is aftermarket, but it has probably been installed since the truck was sold new.

Rear bumpers were optional and here in CA, the Fey Bumper Co. was the largest supplier.

Fey gave dealers display racks, were placed in showrooms, could hold at least 8 different types of step bumpers.

Those rims might not be original to the truck, but original rims. What about the front tow hook?

Yes, the rims should be white for original 72, but actually are you looking for a Pebble Beach Concourse vehicle? If that, then strip out all the parts provided by the auto parts houses and look for NOS parts like the Mustang guys. Your key is not an original Ford blank.

No I am just trying to determine if all the parts belong to a 72. I am almost sure everything is original period appropriate parts.
The rims were painted a whitish grey because the person that had the truck before me power coated them. And I am ok with that.
