Well, money talks, so I bought one off the lot

Was all set to order a 2014, but $4750 in rebates and bonus cash was just too much to pass up. Made a deal last night and came back today with my trade-in. Wouldn't you know it, the truck (which was on another lot), had been sold! So they found three more for me to choose from. I picked one that wasn't quite as optioned out, but it was $1500 less, and I'm trying to keep my payments reasonable. So it's now done, all I have to do is wait for it. It's at a dealer in Eugene Or, and I'm in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Here's the vitals-

F250, 4X4 crew cab 156" XLT 6.2L 3:73 E-lock gears
Blue jeans metallic, with Steel interior

All the standard XLT stuff plus the following options-

XLT value pkg (fog lamps, security group, adjustable pedals, reverse sensor,
6-way power drivers seat)
10,000# pkg
Shift on the fly
Cast machined alum wheels 18"
LT275/70R18E All terrain tires
Up fitter switches
40/console/40 front seat

So that's about it. Trying to temper my excitement a little till it gets here, which could be as early as tomorrow, or as late as Monday. I will post pictures of course. Disappointed I'm not getting the 4:30 gears, but it should tow my 7,000 lb trailer just fine. I know you're curious so here's what I paid AFTER the rebates etc- $38,658.

Best of luck to you. Sounds like a great deal. She will have no problem with the tow. Post a picture when she arrives.

First take it for a nice long drive and then take pictures if you can stop smiling long enough to take them.

I am new to this site. I will pick my new F250 6.2 up tomorrow, trading my 06 6.0 in and I am pretty excited about the change. Been reading these forums for a while and now it is time to make the change! I will post some pictures soon.

Just lock out 6 th gear. Also, on the interstate when cruising, Manual 5th works great to stop it from shift a bunch when using cruise control.

It going to pull that trailer just fine.

I WISH I COULD! Mine still hasn't arrived so I can't even drive it, let alone take pictures.

Congrats on the truck.

I'm definitely interested to see the colors inside and out.

I will post pictures soon!! Drove it home from Orlando today. Absolutely enjoyed the whole ride, even with 20 miles of stop and go backed up traffic!!!!!!
