It's illegal to remove a functioning converter. If its not functioning properly...

I know, I'd like to eventually swap in a single high flow one with a walker y pipe and see if that solves my problems. Looks like that could get a little expensive though.

I also wish the walker y pipe was stainless because I hate to replace nice stainless pipe.

How far back does the walker pipe go when it's bolted up? It looks really long, like it would go all the way to the muffler.

Go to the Walker Exhaust eCatalog to view the exhaust parts listed for your truck. I doubt the replacement y-pipe/converter will reach your muffler. It is designed to be a drop-in replacement for a factory exhaust therefore it will reach the intermediate pipe between the y-pipe/converter and the muffler.

I knew it wouldn't reach the muffler, but it looks like it would extend past the factory converters.

Amazon listed the overall length in the 89.5" range, it should be plenty long enough to connect to the stock intermediate pipe.

DPDISXR4Ti is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
For reference, the Walker part# for the Y-pipe is WLK-45166. Here's a link....

I know what it looks like just wondering if it extends past both factory cats.
