F-Super Duty parking brake

F-Super Duty parking brake
I just picked up a 1994 F-super duty with a parking brake assembly connected to the transmission. I'm not familiar with this set up and it looks like a a real project to replace the shoes. I don't have the special tools nor do I have a hydraulic press. Can I buy this as an entire unit from someone other than Ford ? I've been searching online and the Ford ones seem pricey. I'd hate to spend a $1,000 or so for a parking brake.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if I need any special tools or not. I can use my friends press if needed. Just not sure if there's going to be any unexpected surprises.
This has got to be one of the stupidest set ups that I've seen in quite some time.

The Ford dealer will be of no help as they will tell you that “THEY’RE NOT REBUILDABLE. YOU HAVE TO BUY A BRAND NEW UNIT TO THE COST OF $1600.00”.
The O-ring should be a 1/8” x 2” I.D. O-ring but may be too tight as the old one may mic’s out .120.
and a new one mic’s out at .139 thick. So you may just have to find one that will fit.
The seals were from Car Quest Auto Parts store. They are in: National Seal, SLS 65x90x10 and National Seal SLS 75x100x12. They had to order them.
The old bearing were used.
The above information is for the one that was rebuild in the photo above. Yours may be different and have different sizes.

Well I got a little time today to work on my truck. I got the drum off without removing the whole assembly. I had to chase the threads on the flange and then run two long bolts through which pushed off the drum. It took a little bit of heat and some patience, but I got it off.
To my surprise, the drum and shoes were in great shape. That's bad news because I thought that was what was making all the noise. Now if I spin the shaft on the unit, I can still hear the noise. I guess I have a bad bearing.
I tried taking the assembly off the transmission but it didn't work out so well. I hope the bearing didn't overheat and mess up the shaft on the trans. I'll tried again tomorrow if I have the time. Hopefully tomorrow will yield better results.

If I get it off and need those files, I'll send a pm. Thanks.
