Partsgeek.com sells the valences for $15 (Regular style) and $27 for the Lightning style; They call it the "Tow hook" version...Which is cheaper than $70 to LMC for the same frackin piece.
I may or may not put the lightning style one on later on. I was planning on doing it but now I'm not so sure.

That sucks, I'd almost just rather run no valance. It looks taller that way. If I wanted to go low, it would be an easy decision.

I've seen lifted trucks with the Lightning valance and think it looks alright, especially on a truck that is de-chromed and all painted to match.

Personally, I'll stick with the stock valance. I think it looks better than not having one, and it does help with fuel economy, cooling, and the truck just feels better at highway speed. When I first got my truck, it was missing this. A few years later I ended up buying a new one for it.

I trimmed the stock one a bit to clear my tires. I may make some holes for fogs to go.
