Hey so another question, what all is involved to swap out the headlight assembly for the newer style one, beside the headlight it's self?

 

I guess there are 2 methods. If changing only the lights, you gotta change the connectors, which are from the 04 and up f150. Also you gota do some triming for them to fit. The other method which I did, is to change out the header panel,(the piece that holds grill and lights) and the lights ,grill and bumper just bolt on from any 05 and up.

 

Yah I already have a billet grill ( came like that) and my factory headlights look like poo. I've got no problem with abit of trimming to fit in a nice 1 piece unit.

 

I bought my lights from headlightdepot... the conversion pigtails & all bulbs were included. Well, they were SUPPOSED to be, but the pigtails didn't ship with the lights... I had to call them & get 'em shipped separately. The trimming of the header was much more extensive than I originally thought, but I got 'em in.... LOVE the look of the newer headlights.
