Pulls to the right

Pulls to the right
Hello. Have a 2007 Expedition with 130K. Wife is telling me the truck is pulling to the right when breaking. I have read that it could be the break line collapsing or could be the caliper going bad. For the collapsed break line would I see that under the truck in the grange with someone holding the breaks down? And I have read some conflicting reports that it would be the left one that would be collapsing when the truck pulls to the right. How would I tell if the caliper needs to be replace what visual signs would I look for. Just trying to do my research before I get the truck up in the air and start looking at it this evening. Thanks

In 99 out of a 100 cases the bad caliper is the opposite side of the pull. So if it's pulling to the right the caliper on the left isn't squeezing as tight. A mild pull usually means there's an issue with the rear and a hard pull means the front. Also, after taking a drive put your hand near each wheel to feel for a lot of heat coming off the wheel near the rotor. If one is generating a lot more heat than the other that caliper is likely sticking.
