"The Beast" is what I came up with. I also like calling it a truck since it's built on that platform.

 

Our 2004 Excursion is affectionately known as "Black Betty" to many folks.

 

My wife named it "George".

 

When I saw the title to this thread, I immediately thought "I wonder how many people named theirs "the Beast"? People that come across mine usually just instinctively call it a "beast". I didnt name mine, I just call it my truck. My wife calls it "The School Bus", though.

 

Daughter named it "Wilbur", after the pig in Chalotte's Web,,, all of my "fleet" is named, makes it easier when telling kids to get in one or the other.

First of all my wife named them not ME!

The 2000 is "Snorty Girl" because of the way the 7.3 starts, kind of a snort when it lights up.

The 05 is "Sassy Girl" I think just because its a nicer truck than the 2000 being its a "Limited"

 

Back in the day, friends called our rig Land Yacht. But back on 2004, Landyot was still a member here. So, while I never explained to my friends, I didn't let that name stick to our rig.

So it became Big Red.

No name personally yet besides "truck" when I reference it

 

mine is maned "dirtbike" as it is a 2wd 7.3 and i drive it like a 4x4 lol with 5 kids in it going WWWWEEEEEEEEEE

 

I've called mine the Beast and The Truck...but my true name is "the Griffin Rig"

 

I just call it "the truck" 99% of the time.

 

Ours is the Jolly Green Giant, usually shortened to either Jolly Green or Green Giant.

 

Wife named it Big Red, but I named it Nellie Girl.
