Any Good 6.0 Powerstroke Shops in ABQ?

Anyone know or recommend a good shop around Albuquerque to do some 6.0 Powerstroke upgrades? Std stuff like head studs, EGR delete, and basic bulletproofing to cure the factory weak spots.

It is actually for my motorhome with the International VT365 engine, but same essential engine as the 6.0 with the associated weaknesses. It already has a coolant filter from factory and ELC type coolant, none of the Ford gold crap that causes problems. So I don't have the oil cooler plugging up issues that then lead to the EGR issues. I would try some of this myself, but it does not fit in my garage, and I don't like working on the gravel driveway in case stuff is dropped. Bolts and small part disappear in that gravel! Thanks, Terry

I'll have to dig up who we used for the Excursion when we brought it back in town. I'm not sure there is anyone who is proficient in bulletproofing these engines in town but I'll verify my thought process there and post back.

I myself have a 7.3 and a buddy that does as well and he swears by American Diesel here in town. Says they're very honest guys.

Appreciate the help. Any more ideas are welcome. I do not think the 6.0 is a bad engine, but being in my motorhome, I want to make sure it does not cause my vacations to be spent in repair! Some preventative maintenance and i will increase the reliability.

I don't think the 6.0 is a bad engine, just some of the exterior parts are more problem prone than others. If you turn up power (I.e. Tuner, etc) I would recommend head studs. Check out BulletProof Diesel online. Those guys have done some amazing things and fixed a lot of problem areas with the 6.0.
