97 f150 4.6L v-8 multiple issues need help
This truck has not run right since I bought it. I have changes the fuel filter, air filter, MAF, pcv, plugs and wires. Today I had the plugs and wires changed due to a misfire issue but when I got the truck back the cel turned back on in just driving it from the work bay to the parking lot. I rescanned the codes and got p0141, p0161, p1401, p0304 and p0175. Is there anyone who can give any advice on how to clear these codes. I thank anyone who is able to help. Thank you

Hello Dave,
You first have to look up the codes to see what the system is having issues with.
All the work you done had little to do with the actual codes except one, the 304.
Doing work not needed invites even more issues on top of the ones you already have.
Multiple faults at the same time are hard to recognize if your not able to see them based on the codes, and leads to complete confusion.
.
Codes 141, 161 and 175 can be grouped togather and may or may not be from the same cause.
Look over the harness from the area of the passenger side of the motor back to the trans and Ox sensors for a burn or rub-through damage.
.
The 1401 code involves the DPFE specifically. It may be faulty or have a harness feed issue.
.
The 304 is cylinder 4 last one back on the pass side is in misfire.
Check the plug wire, it's boot etc for an issue.
Clear the 304 first then look into the possible harness issue, then the 1401 DPFE issue in that order of importance.
Good luck.

The dpfe was the harness. When they changed the plugs and wires the other day they didn't put it all the way back on. Is it possible that the misfire is causing the O2 codes? I was thinking of changing the injector on 4 due to it having new plugs and wires and the coil is sparking the way it should.

Dave, your making things out to be harder than they need be.
You already found the DPFE issue.
You have an OX sensor heater code. Misfire or an injector has nothing to do with that fault. It's a sensor electrical heater circuit issue..
They changes plugs and wires and you still have an issue with #4.
Maybe the plug wire is no good, not plugged into the coil etc.
Check for spark first, then check for injector operation.
Don't keep jumping to other things until you are sure the work done is not the cause.
Next step is a compression test to see if that cylinder has pressure within 10% of all the rest.
If you took it to a shop to repair all these items they should have done so.
Clearing codes before the customer takes the truck is a crooked and misleading deal to cover poor work..
Good luck.
