Dr. just called bloodwork numbers are low more bloodboosters and Still anemic, just when I wanted to rejoin you guys. Well I'll still be hanging out but will try to keep quite, I know I can be annoying, sorry. Just do me 1 small favor PLEASE...get out and drive that truck. I am going to have to have my 15 yr old son drive me around in mine, not that it's bad to introduce him to it only that I wanna drive it.

Well, you do what you need to, to get back on your feet. The wonderful thing about our trucks is that they will patiently wait until you get back out to the garage. And just because you might not be able to work on your truck, doesn't mean you have to be a stranger here.

Do what the Doc suggests and you'll be back bustin' yourself on the truck soon.

Hang in there! I know how you feel, I am just getting back in shape to do some more work on Edith and enjoy her more after nearly a year of being sidelined.

We're family here. Being able to talk about your situation could help so keep posting. If someone gets annoyed by your posts, or any other, they don't have to read any of them.

Good luck with your recovery and keep us posted.

I'm not sickly but I don't have any close friends and the guys here are about the only friends I have that understand my hobby. My family couldn't care less so I kind of know what you're feeling, my situation isn't like yours but I can feel for you.

Thanks all I will and I will be at least lurking if not posting. Sometime today even typing wore me out. Hard to believe I'm also into martial arts usually 3 times a week. This is setting everything back a long time. I still watch isperational videos for shudokan karate.

To quote Red Skelton, May God bless.
I'm getting an artificial knee tomorrow. I'm "only" 52, but, it is long overdue. So, I expect to be back at fixing Albatross soon. It had a cracked head ( Y block woes!). My younger son can't drive on the roads yet, but, his grandpa has some land nearby. We're going to tear up the fields soon enough before grandpa's memory don't work so good. Getting older makes me chuckle at these tattooed kids with pierced whatever..
..if they're really wanting to see just how tough they are, let's see them try old age!
Hang in there and enjoy the view from the passenger seat. Hell, I'd ride in the bed if I could still take the lickin'!

Hey Kurt,
Hang in there! I'm teaching my 16 year old youngest daughter how to drive. That will keep you young, geez - we went out on the highway for the first time yesterday. You tend to forget about all your med problems when you see huge trucks barreling down on you.. Ride shotgun for a while till you feel better - but hang on tight.

Yes Ben I do hang on. The kids car is a 03 mustang GT 5 speed. He says the 54 has no brakes or steering. I damn near left dents in the dash from puckering up when he was driving it and pulling up to major intersection and red light, Hehehe.
