Anyone know the secret to removing the plastic interior trim pieces from the Liftgate? I have "popped out" all of the simple "clips" holding the trim pieces in place, but both pieces seem attached near the door handle on the liftgate. Any tips or tricks on how to remove the interior plastic trim pieces without destroying them???

 

I'll have to look in the service manual tonight. I remember taking the trim off and not running in to much difficulty. Is there a lens cover on the panel that has a screw behind it or screws holding the pull handle in place? When you say "door handle" are you referring to the handle on the exterior of the liftgate or the the pull handle? I am quite certain that pull handle is screwed directly to the metal liftgate and not just attached to the trim.
