Need a GOOD Dealership mechanic for warranty repairs

I am new to FTE. I bought my 2006 F350 6.0 PS a few months ago from someone about 100 miles from where I live. It is still under an extended service plan. It is losing coolant (not puking) when I tow a 5er, so I need to take it to a Ford dealership in the Raleigh, NC area to have it checked out. This is the first diesel I've owned. I really could use recommendations on which area dealership has the best 6.0 mechanic(s)

Can anybody help me out here? I have to do this soon...the ESP is about to expire! Although a reputable dealership is my immediate need, in a few weeks I'll be looking good independent shop for my 6.0, so any recommendations for that are MUCH appreciated, too!

Thanks!

2006 F350 XLT FX4 6.0 PS

It's old but try this thread:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...-mechanic.html

I haven't used these two places but:

I think some of the diesel excursion folks use this place:

Global Off-Road & Diesel
8624 Barefoot Industrial Rd
Raleigh, NC 27617
(919)-784-0411

And this place:

Contact Us | NCB Diesel Repair and Off Road Raleigh NC

I know this guy but not sure if he works on diesels. But he is a solid ford mech and a real nice guy to deal with: Jeremy is the owner and main mechanic.

I've heard both great and crappy things about Capitol Ford. They are a huge dealership and have a massive and completely seperate truck facility. Might be worth giving them a call as well if you need local dealer service.

Hope some of this helps get you going. Good luck.

James,

Thanks for your input!

I was hoping I might get a second on a dealer. I am going with Capital Ford since their counter guy was far more knowledgeable than the guy at Crossroads in Wake Forest. A pretty weak reason, but the best I could come up with.

Take care.
