1995 dual exhaust question

i have a 1995 f150 5.0l and i was wondering how to run a dual exhaust setup i have been pondering this for a while and I am not sure on how i want to accomplish this because i have an oxygen sensor but i don[t know how to take that and move it to a new exhaust. If there are any photos of truck that have this please post. and If i go to dual exhaust and have to have cat on one i think ima put it on both so they sound the same. thanks!

2 high flow cats, and take it to an exhaust shop or do it your self, its pretty straight forward

Do either of you have pictures of what you did? I understand what you mean by buying two cats and running them then placing the o2 sensor where needed but I was just curious on what you both did.

well on my f250 with the 5.8 I cut my cat off and cut the flange and ran straight pipes with glass packs all the way back but don't be in a hurry like I was

I can get you some information on what I did if you'r like. I am using shorty headers for ease of access to everything. Then I am using a Bassani Y pipe with two 2.5" pipes coming together into a 3" pipe with a 3" high flow cat. The Y pipe came with the ball fittings to bolt to any shorty header that will work with factory exhaust. It also has the O2 bung already in it. I then went to a Gibson performance cat back system with a 3" pipe all the way to the muffler then exiting with two 2.5" pipes all the way out the rear. Let me know if your interested in all the part numbers. I will say I spent about 1100 to 1200 dollars for the whole thing in stainless. I call local muffler shops and they were in the 1000 to 1500 range and I promise their stuff doesnt look this good.

I'd just use some shorty headers and then leave the O2 sensor in about the same place it is now and run both pipes down the passenger side with the mufflers set up an their side next to each other.

Do any of you guys have an x-pipe or an h-pipe, or do our trucks even benefit from an setup with one of those in it?

If the O2 sensor is installed between the pipes as it was from the factory it'll make an H pipe.
