Whaddup fellers!
Yesterday Tim and I managed to get out of the house and got some fishing in. Water felt great, we both were knee deep in it. I had to go topless and got my udders a little color (red).
Today we set and wait for Tropical Storm Andrea to get here, should be around 3pm or so, our time. So far there has been some flooding and trees down since the ground is so wet, and the stronger part of the storm is the east of us about an hour, not too far actually. I'd like to get at least a good Thunderstorm out of it...
I'm having problems getting pictures to save on my computer lately. I have some nice shots of storm clouds from yesterday that I can't get to load.
Hope yall are doing well.

Unk BOb

i have a couple of boxes of 51 parts that came in.. so i guess i will go play with it today. was hoping to get the engine running before i finish up on the front sheet metal..it is so hard trying to get everything done in a way not to interfere with other things

RC. I know what you mean. I'm having the same problem with the Chevelle. I think I've resigned myself to doing a crap ton of masking when I shoot it.

Hey - I'm just glad that's not the picture he posted.

Oh hi Bob!

Mom's shopping is done. After I have a lunch break, it will be out to the van to start on the front brakes.

Good Afternoon The Great!

One of these days I'm going to stop making plans. Every time I do they change the minute I say anything. Just after my earlier post claiming that I was going to get started on the van, the big green truck brought the rest of my tires.

Instead of working on the van, I made one trip, killed three birds, and came home $2 richer than when I left. How did I do that? I sold almost 700 lbs of scrap for $44 (bird #1), got the tires mounted & balanced for $40 (bird #2), picked up a dresser at my sister's that Mom has been wanting (bird #3), and got me and Nikki a soda for the way home (that's where the other $2 went).

I love it when things come together like that. My luck is usually the other way around.

I had a productive day, but suffered a set back with the Chevelle. I got a bunch more wiring done, but found out a high torque starter and 12:1 compression is really hard on a stock flexplate. I guess I need to buy an SFI unit.

Ouch Alan that's going to hurt.

I've got one wheel on the van apart but I think I'm going to need new bearings. You guys take a look at these and tell me what you think. They look like they've gotten hot but my poor color vision has fooled me before.

Yeah - I pretty much decided that safe was better than sorry. I'm going out in the morning to pick some new ones up.

Just got back from a Carthage down and back run, oldest grandson had a baseball game. He pitched the first inning, got a base hit and scored the 2nd run for the team.
