Yes, congratulations. I'd like to see the compression readings on that engine, oil pressure to. You must use thinner oil in the winter right? 5W20 - 5W30? Other wise that 10W-40 would starve the valvetrain.
How often do you check and top off your oil? The 99's and earlier had valve stem seal problems wearing out early and causing the engines to burn more oil.
What do you do, drive back and forth on a looooooooooooong flat road to the grocery store for a loaf of bread every day.

All 4 doors on my 99 are rusted out at the bottom, the bed has two 5 inch diameter holes on each side just ahead of the rear bumper, the frame has a 2 inch hole just under the drivers area, and the left rocker panel has rusted through at the end near the bed. What does your truck look like in these places after 400k+?! Awesome.

My High Miles
On May 21, 2013 my 1999 4 x4 F-150 hit the 400,000 mile mark in Manchester, NH.
I am the original owner, and the trucks original engine and transmission have never had any major work done on them. I am on only my third set of spark plugs. Only changed the oil every 12K - 15K miles. I took a picture of odometer and will post once I figure it out.
I Love my FORD truck !!!!
