radiator

Ok l had a rad out of a 79 f150-460 that is a mid mount 4 core. It fit the original core support of mu 62 uni. I just had to cut the top of the crossmember out so it could go down enough. That radiator is not rebuildable so l need to find a new one. I cannt find a replacement locally or online that l can afford but, l see some aluminum 3 and 4 row on ebay. Has anyone used any of these. I am running a mild 460 with electric fans and just want to buy right the first time.
Thanks Steven

I just bought this one for my '66 but haven't installed it yet. With aluminum you need to make sure your coolant works with aluminum, only use distilled water to dilute and ground it to the body to prevent electrolosis.
This looks nice, appears to be well made and has a lifetime warranty.
Hope that helps a little....

Ok, l orded off Ebay from reliable rad. When l made my order they said they had 10 in stock. Then when l paid they emailed me and said it would be a couple of weeks back ordered.

I havent driven my truck since 1988 but l, its closer to being on the road then it has been in years. So l figured a few weeks was no big deal. so l emailed them on friday and they emailed me back saying container was in but wasnt sure if my rad was in the shipment or not.
Just venting l gues. Will update if l get it this week or hear anything back.

Finally got the rad and it is installed in the truck. The brackets were a little different but l made it work. It is about 8 inches shorter then factory 4 row that l had from the 79 ford. I have not put water in it yet l have been messing with the fenders and such. It does look like a descent rad for the money.
