WP, COOLANT FILTER, AC and SHROUD MOD

Thank you bud
Id like to mention or add a couple of things about the replace of the WP:
1.- Dont forget to put a piece of carboard behind the radiator to protect it to the fan (very easy to hurt it)
2.- Make a template for the position of the different sizes of the bolts (this makes your life easy during the installation).
3.- Before traying to pull the fan clutch and the shroud, disconnect the clips and plastic retainer of the hoses in the lower part of the shroud (in all the write ups I have read, is not written); more if you are working alone, as I did.
4.- Make the shroud KAWA mod (with it is very easy to install the fan clutch yourself without any bud's help).
Yesterday I tested the AC in normal and got 44* and with AC MAX = 36*.
Also I changed the motor oil an filter and I have a question: In a write up that I have say: use 19.5 qts and may motor only received 13.5 qts, what Im missing?

If its the HUGE BLACK filter yes thats the number, there are also one HUGE WHITE Donaldson P554105 and I dont know which is better; how often do you change it. I just installed a Fleetguard LF-3630.
EDIT: the black is 15 mic and the white is 40 mic.

About the shroud mod, Im going to use these words that come from the inventor (KAWA):" It will make your life much happier if you have to do any fan, water pump, belt etc repairs. The top half comes out with a minimum of effort." You only have to pull the hose from the radiator to the degas bottle.

Is your truck 4x4?; as you can see in my signature mine is 2x, so maybe its not a good idea to put one of those filters, IDK.

I think it may be neat for this mod to do a hinged setup like the suitcase latches. Basically just lock each side down.

Yeah it is 4x4. I have no issues running the Donaldson. It clears everything perfect and I've yet to damage it. Granted I don't rock crawl my big diesel though.

Jose, this thread is great. Your truck is looking magnificent, as always. I'm going to read through those A/C mod links you provided. I'm curious about that one.
