Now that GM has released preliminary figures for their 2014 6.2 EcoTec3:
420 hp/450 lb-ft (vs. 403/417 in their current 6.2).
By comparison, Ford's 6.2 (in F-150 applications) makes 411 hp/434 lb-ft.
On the ford site they only show 385 HP and 405 torque for the 10 K and under SD trucks. Even less for the over 10 K crowd. I have a new F250 on order, 6.2 and I really don't know what it will have.

Your F250 will have 385 HP with 405 torque, they get the lower rating on the over 10K by rating it at a lower RPM.

The dealer says the new 6.2 will out pull my V10. But my 08 V10 has more then 405 torque, but less HP with 362 verse 385 on the 6.2. The 3.5 Ecoboost has more torque then the 405 of the 6.2. Although on the new explorer with the 3.5 Eco they derate the torque to 365, but keep the HP at 365 just like the F150 trucks have.
