does anybody have any experiance using using moly grease for spindle bearings,any problems for abs sensor?

 

IIRC, a synthetic grease would be more compatible with what's already in the unit bearings. I wouldn't mix them. I'd have to back to the old thread to see what was deternined to be the best.

 

this grease Im referring to is Schaeffer 274 Moly EP synthetic blend.

 

any opinions on wheel bearing grease.

 

I listened to Marv on the grease;

"Use a non-moly lithium-based NLGI #2 grease. The best commonly available is the red Mobil-1 grease."

Timken used Exxon/Mobil Infinitec 152, but it's not available in smaller quantities. I went searching for a more-available grease that was similarly-rated and came up with this Delo greases.

For something readily-available, that's also very good, Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease is at most auto-parts houses.

Anything you use should be lithium-complex-based, and the use of any moly additive is debatable. Timken didn't, probably for a reason.
