today i verified the reason my gas gauge is not working is due to a bad sending unit.

i have called all the local parts stores and checked rockauto. no one seems to carry the sending unit for an 85 f150 300 i6 with 16 gallon tank.

can anyone give me a good source for this part?

 

just place an order with LMC. the only place i could find one.

 

Same here man, ford dealership even said they would have issues locating one.
