Looky what followed me home (its a 48 FORD...) slightly OT

Finally was able to spring my 1948 8N from jail (aka the Ex's). Shes a good runner with the Sherman auxillary transmission, just have to figure out a carb issue, 12v upgrade, new used rear tires, body and paint =)

One can never have too many projects =)

Looks like some very nice sheet metal on that old girl. Love those Ns. Is the Sherman an under or over?

I've never really thought about its, but im assuming the Sherman is an underdrive (great tractor for brush hogging. Sheetmetal is "ok" got some straighting to do on the grill and nose of hood, few minor dents in the fenders. Need to replace one headlight and the battery tray.

I've only owned this tractor a year or so (but ive been driving/borrowing it for years) but bought it from my best friends parents when they upgraded to a newer tractor (my buddy inherited the 52 8N with loader, and I bought this one super cheap). They even threw in the tire chains

Wow, I use to mow fields with one of those back in the 80's. That brings back memories. Enjoy !

I just went a bought another engine for mine - It got loud last week.
