rsh27921 is starting off with a positive reputation.
I just got the same truck last october and even same color...love it..have the same gears and she will wind up pretty tight over 55mph. Needless to say, I have no regrets on getting it and don't forget, she'll pull past anything but a gas station. But I must say that if you can keep your foot out of the gas, it's not too bad. Oh yeah, check on swapping to a 3g alternator..just had mine go up last week..not fun and the new alternators are much safer! Happy motoring and welcome!

Forgot to ask if you had the vinyl or cloth seats? I bought my truck with blue bronco buckets and want to make it stock again and am looking to see what kinda bench they had in them..could you snap and post a pic?

'Explorer' is an XLT, it would have cloth seats.

Yeah 3G alts are much safer and have a much higher output. You could then run a nice electric fan with a 3g. That would net you a little bit more power and more fuel mileage. It won't be a significant gain since the 460 already has so much torque, but every little bit counts with a big block lol

As some had posted, they're the tan cloth seats, wasn't lucky enough to get captain's chairs, though I'm not sure if that was even an option in this particular model.

The second pic was at night, so the image quality is less than stellar because of the crude cellphone flash.
