Cost of Fuel

I am Moveing back Home to Colorado from FLA, i am going to be towing my Jeep Grand Cherokeee packed full of stuff with my 93 F350 now done in the Shop from a 2wd conversion to 4wd, I was looking on Many Fule Cost coculation places and they Dint have the F350 nore a thing that shows ill be towing.

I got to drive from Jax Fla to Houston Tx, then To Lubbock Tx then to Greeley Co.

About how much Fule will i be looking at? Its a diesel fuel non turbo with Naturaly asperatd fule injection thing.

I just could not stand how pathetic the trip calculator sights have been.

figure 7 mpgs per gallon. Then you multiple # of gallons x 4.25 a gallon for diesel.

You should way less than that. But that is where I caluate when planning.

I think 7mpg for a non turbo IDI is more than fair, it is going to get ugly the higher in altitude you get. Get the gas buddy app so you at least know the cheapest places when you enter each town.

You can google map the trip and drag the course to the exact roads you want to take and get your total mileage.

gasbuddy.com will allow you to put in your own mileage figures instead of trying to find your car/truck in the list.

It'll route and map out your entire trip, based on lowest cost. You can damn near figure it down to the penny, since you can put in how much fuel you have in the vehicle when you leave out.
