1998 E250 4.2 will not start
I have a high mileage 1998 4.2 that decided one morning to not start.Fuel pressure@40: pull spark plug getting fire: decided to change cam positioning sensor and crank sensor, still nothing. spins but no start. Code reader says P1409: P0156 . On one start cycle tried to fire out of intake. Seemed like one cylinder fired. COULD computer have went out?

What constitutes "high mileage"?

Was your fuel pressure measured while cranking or static?

tom, 497,000 miles , was rebuild at 180,000. Fuel pressure was static checked.
