Yeah I'm not saying I like the price, that's for sure! but I do like the detail and Money put into that truck! That's the kinda thing I wish I could do with our body style! But I don't think I'd sell after that, it'd be my baby for a long long time!!

There's no way I'd personally spend that on that rig. For 35k, I could have mine EXACTLY, the way I want it. Plus a lot left over, but you can't blame the guy for throwing it out there and see if anything bites. I also would never do a fummins. If I wanted an inline 6, I'd go get an old 12v. Just my .02.

I really don't understand the fascination with putting a different manufacturer's engine in your vehicle. In the end, if you want a Dodge, get one. I've owned them and really didn't like them too much. I've liked my Fords and so I drive Fords. The PSD isn't perfect but you take the good with the bad. Maybe it's just a "let me see if I can do it" thing, which is fine, but I wouldn't buy it.

I think it's more that they think they're taking the better part of both worlds and combining it into one truck. To many the PSD is seen as a weakness, so they take the best part (the Ford truck) and add what they feel to be the best engine (Cummins) and make a really kickin' Fummins truck. I don't have anything against a Cummins, I think they make a great engine, but here we know how to make the PSD work like it should so we don't need to swap the engines!

I don't get the fascination with the cummins. The only real advantage is they are cheaper to turn up the power on, but if you have swap motors then all the cost savings is eaten up plus some more!
If I ever did an inline 6 swap it would be a Navistar/IH engine, and I would do it just for fun and plan on keeping it forever.
