Climate control not powering up

I have a 2003 ex limited with the 7.3. It has the automatic climate control system. It does not light up nor do any of the controls respond. The only AC fuse I could find is for the compressor clutch. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Frank

Turn the lights on and off a couple of times and it will come back to life. Turn the **** to the right so that the lights actually turn on and off if its day time. Not sure what the answer is but I know it works.

Eddie You're my hero. Twice on with the lights did the trick. Who would have thunk that..... Is this a recurring problem or just an intermittent fluke?

It is a lazy relay in the battery saver module or on the back of the dashboard, don't recall which.

The headlights draw enough current to "wake" it up. I've had it happen twice in the nearly 3 years I've owned my Ex..

OR, you can claim it's part of a secret anti-theft device.
