i want to get a 92-96 f-150 and make it like a lighting from the outside well sort off. What i really like is the steering wheel. but i dont know what year started having this kind of steering wheel. i have included a pic so you know more or less what im talking about.

That style interior started in 92 i think....

 

My truck is a 95 and has that same steering wheel, it also has the air bag in it.

 

I believe that would be a 94-96 beacuse I think 94 was the first year they put an airbag in steering wheel in the f150s

 

my 92 E150 has that steering wheel. With the airbag.

 

so ill buy a 94 and up f-150 and make it look like a lighting. im already tired of my 81 f-100 it too much restore parts needed

i have a 92 and the interior is all the same but i have a different steering wheel

 

Why don't you just buy a lightning...would probably be about the same price.

 

if i buy a 94 what options are there like custom, xlt?

which one has the the bench seat with the the thing in the middle the goes up to look like a reagular bench seat and when down an arm rest?

 

Any of them could have that seat, but it's not as likely in the higher trim levels.

 

then ill get a 1994 f-150 xlt but ill look for one with the folding center armrest.
