looking for more HP for my 1970 302

OK I already have headers with glass packs and more spark because I upgraded the distributor (petronixs) and flame thrower coil. Now I am thinking of getting an intake and new carb. Which one is best (reliable) and cheap even used,to look for?

Edelbrock Performer intake and 500cfm carb would be my choice.

. Weiand dual quad tunnel ram and twin Holley 390 CFM carb.s... since they usually fit under the hood of a truck... LOL!

. What is your engine? ... 2bbl. carb., low compression, wimp cam truck engine? You may not be satisfied with anything less than a performance rebuild with higher compression ratio pistons, good engine quench, some head porting, and a mild street performance cam... to make your headers/glasspacks really sing...
