im on the look out for just a few nick nack parts for my 1954 ford truck i need a 54 ford horn button with the ford and the stars on it . and i need one more long outside door mirror bracket for a 54 f-250 i found out the f-100 had short mirror arms . lol and a original 223 6 air cleaner . and im looking if i can get one in a area that is somewhere around me that cna be picked up or etc im looking for a original bench seat . also as i was informed by a member about sizes of f-350 rims im now looking for a set of 8 lug 16x 6 with the smoothie look and takes the inner hubcap original rims for 54 ford f-250 . and i see in pics that some 54 f-250s where the ford f-250 emblems goes on the side of the hood i have my emblems and all but some i see has the boomarangs around them and some i see dont was they suppost to be on the truck or have some people just added them on there 54 f-250s ?????

 

Welcome to the madness. As a fellow 54 F250 owner congrats! As for your parts request, the best place to look is CL or ebay for used stuff. The items such as horn buttons are repopped new if you want to go that route. Glass is best purchased new IMHO. Finding decent used glass isn't worth it for as cheap as you can buy new stuff. If you need a rear window glass I have a new one for dirt cheap. Good luck!

 

Flat glass is best cut at your local auto glass place, cheaper and no shipping fees.

 

I have an air cleaner. I'll get a picture tonight for you.

 

I think ive got one or two of those horn buttons, if I could find the garage I think thats where I hid them.
