odd shaking
ok guys, I'm gonna start by asking not to judge too hard. I normally don't drive fast. But my 05 developed "death wobble" this morning at about 90. Lasted until I stopped. Then it was just... Gone. Its an fx4 super cab. 5.4. Ideas?

Death wobble???with a better description you might have already had your answer. It is gone...meaning you've driven it since and it no longer does it or what, and given that it would lessen the probable causes. From my experience one issue with a vibration that can come and go is a tire ply separation. The #1 reason for that condition are improper tire repairs. Because tire liners are minimal to almost non-existant people doing the repairs tend to over buff the liners. The 2nd reason is from hard scuffs and impact breaks. Lastly from damaged beads. If you've had one or more tires repaired I would check there. Separations will lead to complete tire failures.
