Hello all,

New to the site and I'm looking for input on what brand of exhaust manifold gaskets work best as well as tips for the replacement of them.

Any input is appreciated.

Personally I am not a fan of them. NONE were on the engine from the factory, and I like to keep it that way.

If you have a leak, you have an issue. Either a cracked manifold or broken bolt(s)

 

Thanks for the response. They are leaking because the last set of gaskets installed are shot and have blown out in places. So should I remove the manifolds and reinstall with no gaskets and new hardware? They are leaking bad enough to cook the plug wires.

I would take the manifolds to a machine shop and have them decked. It will make them flat and true again, then install with NO gaskets and new bolts with hi temp antiseeze
