New guy here but born and raised in Texas. I am a long time Ford owner from a 2001 ext cab to an F250 stroker. I bought a Charger for better mpg to get back and forth to work. wow I missed having a truck so last week I got a 1993 F 150 regular cab short bed with the 300 I6. It is a bit of high school nostalgia for me and I plan on setting the truck up that way. This will also be a good learning truck to work on since it has 185,000 miles on it and will be slowly tuning up and cleaning it up.

 

Hi Hood, those 300 I6's were good motors. I had one that pulled about as good as any gas motor I've ever had. Ahhh the day of motors that almost anybody could work on brings back memories, guess those days are just about gone. How do you like your Charger?

 

In all honesty, I love my Charger. It is the first car I have ever owned and it was a need since I drive 40 miles round trip to work.

What's your real name? We try to go by first names around here. I find it easier to get to know everyone by there name instead of a handle. Plus, if you ever make it to one of the meets do you really want people calling you Hood? LOL. If you want once you have a sig add your first name to it.
