Who's all gonna be going to the swap meet at the state fair grounds in desmoines this weekend ???

 

Hoping the weather cooperates. Been a long time since I made it over there. Last time I was there was the first year they kicked us out of the varied industries building. I heard it was back to it's former glory so thought I would go. Should have known that would be a curse for the event...

Went to the swap meet was kinda a joke probly because the crappy weather oh well hopefully the next one will be better

 

I made it down as well. The weather pretty much killed it. The guys that were there agreed it isually is better. I did still manage to pick up a few things.

 

Didn't find a thing for my 50 f2

 

I picked up headers that will hopefully fit my Mustang, then a set of casters for the overhead hoist I want to build... Other than that, not much there for me either. It is maybe central Iowa's largest, but the one over here to Cedar Rapids is bigger... not necessarily better though. I didn't come out of there with anything but a ratchet and a 4 bbl intake for the Windsor to go into the Mustang...
