I am about to purchase a 2006 F350 with the 6.0 Powerstroke. With this being my first diesel, I would like to find a shop that knows about these engines and for possibly doing some work if needed. Any suggestions?

Up near you in Elkton, MD is Innovative Diesel. I believe the owner has a 6.0L for his shop truck. Great guys!
