2008 F350 power seat wiring question

OK I finally have a few things figured out. I have power heated leather bucket seats and centre console with a front and rear 12v outlet to install in my truck.

1) My XLT does not have a wiring harness or fuses for the power seats.
2) It is probably best to run a separate circuit with a relay to power the seats and 12v outlets on the centre console.
3) I have no interest in getting the heated portion of the seats to work at this time.
4) My plans are to have a separate fuse for each seat and for the front and rear 12v outlet individually.

I have 2 wires coming from the seats for the power seat motors and controls.
1) black with purple. I assume this is the ground as it is also connected to the seat heater wiring off the relay.
2) grey with red. This would appear to be the positive wire.

The wires to the seats appear to be 16ga braided. The wires to the 12v outlets appear to be 14ga or 12ga braided.

These are my questions:

1) Where should a relay and fuse block be located?
2) Is it best to run a wire right from the battery for the positive and to another grounding spot in the engine compartment?
3) What gauge wire and size of fuse should I use to the relay and main ground and which size of wire for the seats and 12v outlets?
4) What size of relay would be best? I have seen a premade circuit with 2 40 amp relays and seven fused circuits. Cost approx $70.

In same situation.

Hey,
I am in the same situation and have been having a hard time figuring out what to do. I have a 2001 F350 Crew XL. Found some new powered seats out of a 2005. Would be nice if someone would put a Youtube about this.
